Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What fish will we catch at what times of year?
In South Carolina we are blessed with a year round fishery. January, February and March are usually our good trout months. In late March, other species start to heat up, namely, flounder and redfish. Come April through November, the "big 4" - trout, flounder, redfish, and black drum - are hungry! May through the summer months brings great inlet and nearshore Spanish mackerel action. Fall brings our annual "mullet run" and this bait brings our water alive with action from all species. September through December are our best fishing months.
